Pilot Profiles

I started this journey with a GoPro camera for my cycling, as I ride sportives. I then became aware, of a drone that would take the camera! Once I invested in the the Phantom 2 and started to learn about flying, something I hadn't considered, the 'bug' bit me. I wanted to explore the possibilities and invested in more kit and the idea that I could maybe get into the business side of things. That is when I signed up to the best PfCO course in the country. I am still hooked on the adventure and am structuring my enthusiasm with the skill set the Icarus Pro course taught me ...Watch this space!

Coming from a background in stills and time-lapse photography, I moved into video and film as I transitioned to university, studying Cinematography at The Arts University Bournemouth. Since then I have had several years experience working as a camera assistant and operator in the TV/Film industry on a large variety of different productions. I have worked with almost all of the major camera systems, experienced shooting and editing 360/VR content, I am qualified diver and now an ICARUS Pro drone pilot!

I look forward to meeting and working with you.

I come from a creative background with over 25 years working in advertising for some of London's top agencies and blue chip clients. I then decided to move over to the dark side, as a client and work in marketing - a role which enables close contact with my passion for movies and have been lucky enough to visit some major blockbuster film sets and premieres, helping to gain inspiration.

As a side line I also work as a photographer and videographer for weddings and events, using a more cinematic style. My drone work enables me to expand my passion in this field adding extra production value and creativity to both my video and photography. I will be looking to broaden my horizons in this exciting industry.

I have been involved in Agriculture and Haulage all my working life.

I now just do specialist agricultural services for which I hope to use my drone for, as soon as I have done my flight test and successfully earned my PfCO.

I have been a professional photographer for 30 years and I launched Redshift Photography Ltd in 2003. We launched our sister company Redshift Media Production 5 years ago and we create video productions for a range of large clients and for TV. To complement our current stills and video offering we have been working with the guys at Icarus and have now qualified to fly our own drone which gives our stills and movie work an added dimension.
